Service-Orientated Architectures (SOA) are of increasing importance in the development of complex applications. Up to now there has not been an accepted list of criteria for evaluation and assessment of these architectures which describes the characteristics of a SOA independently of individual manufacturers.
TÜViT had developed a generic list of criteria and has also developed a test procedure which tests the basic requirements for a SOA. Fulfilment of the criteria is confirmed by the Certification Body of TÜViT by means of a certificate.
