Document management solutions are already an essential part of modern companies which focus on performance. The operator of such systems is subject to legal requirements, as documents have to be stored in a way which makes them suitable for auditing and inspection by the relevant authorities. An important aspect of these requirements is that there must be procedural documentation which describes the security of the document management system in terms of its truthfulness to the original, availability and security of access. The system must also be satisfactorily implemented in technical terms.
