Press Release
The managing directors of the two companies, Dietmar Focke and Burkhard Rose-Mende, have now signed a cooperation agreement to this end. The co-operation aims to bundle joint resources in order to implement projects flexibly and quickly and covers the entire DACH market. LHIND and TÜVIT SeCom have extensive expertise in data protection and IT security, which they have been successfully applying in various projects for years. In particular, both companies stand for high security standards, which result from the aviation DNA of the Lufthansa subsidiary and the core business of TÜV.
Initially, the joint fields of work will be information security management, data protection, technical security consulting and pentesting, which will be offered across all sectors. Further fields are to be added to this offering in the future. LHIND will contribute its high level of security expertise from the aviation sector, while TÜVIT SeCom will contribute its long-standing proximity to critical infrastructure sectors. This cooperation is particularly valuable for customers in large-scale industry and companies facing complex challenges whose projects often fail due to capacity bottlenecks.
"Our cooperation to date and the successful projects show how well our security approaches harmonise with each other. By pooling our resources, we can respond even faster and more flexibly to the needs of our customers," emphasises Burkhard Rose-Mende, Managing Director of TÜVIT SeCom.
"This cooperation is of strategic relevance to us because, together with TÜVIT SeCom, we can expand our expertise and create more comprehensive security solutions for our customers," adds Dietmar Focke, Managing Director of LHIND.
For the future, the contractual partners are planning to intensify their collaboration across the entire spectrum of information security. Personnel-intensive processes such as pentesting or forensics projects are also to be taken into account.
