Terms and Conditions

  1. Organiser
    The organiser of the competition is TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH (TÜV NORD GROUP), Am TÜV 1, 45307 Essen.
  2. Eligibility
    to enter The competition is open to natural persons who:

    are resident in Germany, have
    reached the age of 18 and, at
    the time of entry, are employed as staff members or managing directors of a medical start-up.

    Definition of a medical start-up: A medical start-up within the meaning of these terms and conditions is a company that cumulatively meets all of the following criteria:

    The company was founded no earlier than 5 years prior to the closing date for entries (the date of entry in the commercial register or comparable official registration is decisive).

    The company employs fewer than 100 staff members (full-time equivalents).
    Fewer than 50% of the company’s shares are owned, directly or indirectly, by a single established company (i.e. a company that does not itself meet all the criteria of a medical start-up as defined in these terms and conditions).

    The organiser is entitled to request appropriate evidence. In the event of false or incomplete information, the organiser is entitled to subsequently cancel participation and reclaim any prize already awarded.

    Employees of the organiser and its affiliated companies, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation. In cases of doubt, the organiser shall make the final decision regarding eligibility to participate.

  3. Participation
    Participation is free of charge and independent of any purchase of goods.

    To enter, the competition form must be completed in full and truthfully and submitted by the deadline. Incomplete or illegible entries will not be considered.

    The deadline for entries is May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Entries received after this time will not be considered. The date and time of receipt by the organizer shall be decisive.

  4. Selection and notification
    of winners Winners will be selected by a random draw from all eligible entries received by the deadline. The draw is subject to a final verification of eligibility.

    The draw will take place within 7 working days of the closing date for entries.

    Winners will be notified by email to the address provided upon entry. Should an initial notification email be undeliverable, a second delivery attempt will be made. The 14-day response period begins upon receipt of the first successfully delivered email.

    If the winner does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, or if their entry is found to be ineligible, the prize claim will lapse. A new winner will be drawn using the same procedure. Participants are responsible for ensuring that the email address provided is correct and accessible.

  5. Prize
    The following will be raffled: A discounted AI audit report. The discounted cost is €10,000 (gross, incl. VAT). A cash payout, transfer to third parties, alteration or exchange of the prize is not possible.
  6. Liability
    (1) The organiser shall be liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health arising from an intentional or negligent breach of duty by the organiser, its legal representatives or vicarious agents, as well as for other damages arising from an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the organiser, its legal representatives or vicarious agents.

    (2) In all other respects, the organiser’s liability is excluded, in particular for:
    technical faults, transmission errors or outages on third-party platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok),
    the loss or corruption of entry data due to technical errors,
    damage arising from incorrect information provided by participants,
    consequential damage or loss of profit.

    (3) The competition is not affiliated with the social media platforms used and is not sponsored, supported or organised by them. The organiser is the sole point of contact for all enquiries regarding the competition.

    (4) The organiser reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons, provided there is good cause (e.g. technical problems, manipulation, breaches of these terms and conditions). In such cases, participants shall have no claims against the organiser.

  7. Data Protection
    The organiser processes personal data (name, email address, postal address) solely for the purpose of conducting the competition. The data will be deleted upon completion of the competition, provided there are no statutory retention obligations. Participants have the right to access, correct or delete their data.   8. Final provisions The law of the Federal
    Republic of Germany shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

    Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that most closely approximates the economic purpose of the invalid provision.

    The Terms and Conditions valid at the time of participation shall apply.
